200-301 class.Troubleshooting is a skill, and this example will help you master that skill. One of the skills is to read the large amount of text output from the show command and to adjust the network diagram as it requires. These two examples use a total of 34 show commands. These two examples are the last basic elements of the CCNA study on LANs and will help you put a lot of concepts together. Each section may require a little bit of understanding, now that you know how much of the Ethernet LAN technology you have mastered.Troubleshooting Example 1: Finding Problems with an Existing LAN-Switched Data Platform Figure 3-5 shows a network diagram and a series of show command outputs for this example. It can be used in any of the following ways... Instruct: Learn by reading in the usual way.Exercise: Look carefully at the diagram and example and try to identify all the problems and develop solutions to them. Pay particular attention to Figure 3-5. read Example 3-7 through Example 3-14. ignore the text and ignore Figure 3-6 at the end of this example. find as many existing problems as possible by analyzing the output text of the command as you study this example. and also compare it to this figure. Compare your list with the list at the end of this chapter (the answers are not included here so that you can complete this exercise independently).
